Sawtry has many great amenities, including a few hairdressing salons, a beauty salon, post office, news agents, a charity shop, a couple of grocery stores, many eating options, a community centre and 2 pubs. There is currently a new Chinese take away in progress as well as a sandwich shop that should also be coming soon. In addition, the many take outs based in Yaxley also happily deliver to Sawtry.
