Wistow remains one of Cambridgeshire's most desirable villages and is located in a small, secluded valley approximately 7 miles to the north east of Huntingdon. The parish church is partly Norman and contains some examples of 15th century painted glass. There are also a number of 16th and 17th century timber-framed houses in the village.
