I will apologise in advance for the self-indulgent post.
3 years ago almost to the day, I attended the EA Masters event through my role at Rightmove. I’d been to many an event over the years but this one in particular struck a chord and ultimately changed my entire career path. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the master class sessions that day with the hugely successful Australian realtor Alexander Phillips and was captivated by his passion and outlook on how agency should be conducted and the standards we as an industry should be striving towards.
From that day, Lennon James Property was born. 6 months later, we opened our doors with zero properties, no brand awareness, no reputation or past relationships to lean on and just a belief that if we were afforded the chance to show what we could do, we could make the home moving experience a better one for all. I’d be lying if I said it was anything but a terrifying time.
Fast forward to today and I am so incredibly proud to be able to announce that we have received notification that Lennon James Property have achieved the highest possible rating in estate agency and are officially a 2021 Best Estate Guide Gold award winner. The Property Academy assess every one of the 25,000 Estate Agency branches across the country and this Gold award identifies us as being in the top 5%. A truly incredible achievement. On the 3rd November, with great pride, the team and I will attend the EA Masters at Evolution London to collect our award.
From a personal perspective, I couldn’t be more proud of the team here. To have achieved this award and be able to return back to EA Masters given it was so instrumental in the decision behind setting up the business brings so much personal vindication. For this reason, it will always hold a special place in the foundation of our business in addition to it being the flagship award for any estate agency to receive. To return just 2 and a half years later as a Gold winner is an incredibly special feeling.
We couldn’t have achieved any of this without the support and backing of everyone who took the leap of faith to give our small business a chance. For this and so much more, I will forever be thankful to you.
